Supply drop in Afghanistan

Canada in Afghanistan

The House of Commons votes to extend the mission for another three years. – The National Post calls the four-day long discussion on the vote to extend the mission “Canada’s finest hour.” But not Canada’s finest four days – which raises the question: “which hour?”

Activists organize to protest the Afghan mission. – A series of small protests springs up across the country in response to the vote.

Others protest the protesters – Virtually, in the Globe and Mail and on the Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan website.
