ABOUT US
Canada’s World is a collaboration between 15 universities and over 40 organizations with one major aim — to engage Canadians in a big conversation about our nation’s role in the world.
Over the past few years, Canada’s World has traveled across the country, holding dialogue sessions and recording your opinions.
The authors of this blog have been chosen for their experience, passion and willingness to contribute to a national dialogue about where we want to be. Together, we aim to inspire people to think about Canada’s role in the world in a new, more active and more constructive way. We hope this blog contributes something that rises above old political divides — something that is fresh, clear-minded and engaging regardless of one’s background.
Our bloggers are committed to reporting and sharing international issues examined through the lens of Canada’s role in the world. Each blogger’s views are his or her own, and do not reflect the opinions of Canada’s World, its staff or other bloggers. Do you think you’d be perfect for our blogging team? Want to pitch a story topic? Email our Online Community Facilitator Kaitlyn Braybrooke at kaitlyn@canadasworld.ca.
Please feel free to also interact with us and stay updated on our latest blog posts via Twitter and Facebook — and read the thoughts and ideas of Canadians who are engaged, passionate, and certainly not silent.

Canadian participants of a Canada's World dialogue session discuss a timeline of our nation's history together.

Dear Canada’s World,
I just stumbled on this site while reading greenjenny’s “Time to Talk About NAFTA.” I am fearful that Canadians may sit idle while predatory American companies take away our right to universal medicare! I want to stop this, and I want to support a movement on this! The only problem is….. I don’t know how. Please help!
Regards,
Chua K. You
